Itinerant G A R D E N S
Looking through the window of time. Over the years the view has changed. Once an orchard full of stone fruit trees, another time tropical greenery, now the wild disheveled Australian bush. I move with my portable and itinerant gardens. In transforming surrounding the little vegetable shapes holds onto photographs. Persisting through absence and lost on a photo album, images piling up like fallen leaves.
Emotions and time unfold through sequences of black and white foliage – shapes, shades and blurry vegetation. From Mendoza to Broome and then Boddington. In every one of those places I cultivated a homely garden. This series reunites some of those images from years past and from only weeks ago. This is my itinerant garden, a garden beyond time. A precious object made of my affections and recollections
