2024/2025 Artist book + projection ——————
“I am No Longer There” is a visual and deeply personal ponder about the happiness and sorrows of displacement, the quest of belonging, identity and the search for home. It recounts a jumpy journey from north to east, from a small town to a large metropolis from local to foreign, from there to here. Always chasing questions, doubts and documenting the movement through countries, doors, people, tables, emotions, landscapes, vehicles and connections.
A sort of personal anthropology.
Initially a black & white analogue photographic series created on the curves of the road over many years. The visual narrative finally became an artist book because a book is a story that easily travels, each reader finding their own path within the story.
